Different Materials for Making Drums

Different materials are used in making ludwig drums. This ensures that every type of drum can produce its own sound when played. If all the drums are made from one material, they will tend to have no change in the beats they produce. Ludwig drums can be made of steel. This will depend on their purpose. Mostly, the steel drums are used in the rock music. Steel, being metallic, produces a high sharp sound though it depends on the thickness of the surface and also the size. Some of the drums are made of leather. This makes them to produce a base sound. In many cases, the drums are made of both leather and steel. They are usually built in sections where the person playing them can easily shift from one section to the other. This makes it easy for the person playing them to change from one tune to another without changing the drums.
